This is an interesting (and tricky!) idea. It’s on our radar.
Your app is awesome, but some other apps have a little bit nicer UI for entering migraines with things like a picture of the front and back of your head, with zones you can tap on to mark where the migraine is. That's much faster than scrolling through a list of text options that you have to read when your head is pounding. They also have a lot of nice color coded items to make finding certain items faster.
That being said, I prefer your app's black background and more detailed reports, so don't completely revamp it :)53 votes
We initially wanted this but figured the list would offer more detailed/custom patterns of location. It may be tricky to incorporate a clickable map but we are hearing your feedback on this-
The current version is freezing on the new migraine screen after the start and end dates are entered
Screen is freezing when trying to enter a new migraine. Happens after I enter days23 votes
We’re on this. We made some big changes and are working to get this guy resolved ASAP. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
I often sleep mid-migraine. Listing a severity while I am asleep doesn't mean much, but it might be nice to track whether the migraine is less severe after sleeping (for x hours). I know the daily check-in includes hours of sleep, but it might also make sense to include sleep as an option on the severity map.25 votes
We’re looking into this!
Keeping track of my tension headaches is often a good indicator of if/when I can anticipate a migraine and how severe it will be!31 votes
We’re looking into how to allow users to enter in different headache types. It’s difficult because we use logged migraines for our risk and insight calculations and if we add another “headache” type it will throw off our algorithms.
I get rebound headaches really often from taking my migraine treatment meds. Is there anyway to add headaches other than the actual migraine18 votes
Thanks Jill, this is a complex topic both in app design and physiology. The best way to differentiate this right now would be to create a new migraine “location” and name it in reference to said rebound headaches, then attach it to the rebound headaches upon their creation. The exportable report will have limited but differentiated data on the locations.
Hope to have more on this soon for you-
Being able to select from a diagram of a head where the pain is would be a great feature. I sometimes feel unclear about trying to use only words to distinguish pain locations.48 votes
(as with other Migraine zones suggestion) We initially wanted this but figured the list would offer more detailed/custom patterns of location. It may be tricky to incorporate a clickable map but we are hearing your feedback on this-
I think allergies should be added such as whatever the levels are in your GPS (pollen, tree, grass, mold, etc.) I sometimes think that my allergies may be triggered by allergens in the air.7 votes
Thanks Veronica, we’ve been wanting to have this since day one. This is a matter of us finding an appropriate source for the allergen data vs gps position, which has proven tricky. Moon phases may be interesting, as well. We’ll add it as soon as we can find a source that meets our needs!
haven't been able to open the app for the past few days - just gets stuck on "refreshing" screen5 votes
If this happens reach out to us directly at Support@welltodo.com and we’ll take care of you / get things sorted out quickly.
We try to use the forum for feature requests and ideas rather than bug tracking / user support. So I’m going to mark this as under review and leave it in that status indefinitely so others can find it in the future.
Since hormones are crazy, add pregnancy somewhere7 votes
Thanks Carolyn, will look into this
It would be nice to be able to enter things for a day where there might not have been a migraine. For example, I receive Botox treatments for chronic migraine so it would be nice to be able to log my treatment days as an independent event from migraines.15 votes
Being able to delete/ dismiss a check in after you miss the day (more than 36 hours, for example). I have had a day or two where I didn't check in and by the time I did I couldn't accurately input what had gone on on those days. Guessing isn't the best thing...14 votes
Would it be helpful to have a map on the check-in that traced your route for the day, maybe even listing the locations you visited?
I'm getting the hang of this program and find it useful. I'm sharing it with my patients, too. I appreciate all the efforts and hard work that went into developing this program.
Thanks Dawn! We’re working it over here trying to improve it every day. Please let us know how we can make it a better tool for you-
The app continues to crash randomly since the last update, but the more frustrating issue is having multiple daily check ins showing up. It's forcing me to complete double check ins on a given day, and then it checks off two boxes of a challenge check in as well so I'm sure it is skewing the challenge information.1 vote
We’ll look into this for you today and get it fixed up.
