How can Migraine Coach be improved?

  1. List symptoms during migraines

    Be able to put a time to symptoms. An example. Nerve pain started on right at the beginning of migraine, but be able to track a seizure starting or numbness further in migraine to help neurologist

    • Input times as present

      Input times should be set at the present rather than when the migraine started. It's fine when I first create a migraine, but two days later when I take meds again, it's annoying to have to change the day, hour, and minute. Or if I get roped into watching a movie or going swimming and go to add it, it'd be nice if the time were closer to the present rather than always being the migraine start time.

      • I love that it gives me a % estimated chance of migraine based on current data, but I wish it would tell me how it got that number!

        I am still trying to find triggers, and I know that weather is one of them... However, I have had them at high barometric pressures, and not at the same pressures. What else about the weather is it tracking? (I would be interested in being able to click the current %, to see how it got that number.

        • Migraine on daily check in

          I miss that it no longer asks whether you've had a migraine on the daily check in. Sometimes if I get one early or while I'm at work I'll forget to log it and the question on the check in almost always prompted me to log it. Can we bring that back?

          • The current version is freezing on the new migraine screen after the start and end dates are entered

            • Be more correct on when your migraine is going to be.

              I it would be nice if it were more precise on when your migraine is going to occur so I know when to be more prepared.

              • Alcohol quantified - how much/what kind

                I typically abstain from alcohol bc it's a known trigger for me. The question I now have is how much does it take - one drink ... two, or is it just random? Also, does type of alcohol matter. Is it alcohol in foods, naturally fermented items (like kombucha), high ABV, etc? All alcohol is not created equal.

                • Food diary function that shows you what food are triggers

                  I am starting an elimination diet to see what is triggering migraines. While I find it helpful you can select "tannin" and "caffeine" etc as a trigger in the app, I always have to look up the food separately to see if it falls in that category. I wish it could all be integrated in one option on the app

                    Being able to add food items off of a searchable list each day (like the current add a new medication or activity is, so that you can see what others search for/add), so that you can watch for trends more specific than "chinese food" or common triggers. Being able to categorize ingredients as they're added would be cool too, that way you can see if gluten or grain is a trigger without sifting through flour, bread, cookies, etc.

                      A way to integrate other Apps such as FitBit where I log my daily food and drink.

                        I am so sick of your "challenges" that can handle one data point at a time. Give me a break, it's data, you can have multiple challenges. I need to be able to track multiple challenges to get more data to work with. You are holding us back on getting the data we need to better manage our migraines. Is that too much to ask? We are paying a decent price, we should be getting more powerful features. Thanks!

                          After a partial hysterectomy, you no longer have a period, but still have all of the hormones that trigger migraines. It would be helpful to be able to track when you think you are having the hormonal shifts.

                                • Change the default for a medication

                                  My migraines last several days. When I take an additional dose of medication, it would be so much easier if the default was taking the medication now instead of at the start of the migraine. When I am suffering enough to take a second dose, it is a real hassle to try and figure out what time it is. If you are 1 minute later than actual time it defaults back to days ago.

                                  • I don't understand the Brux your teeth challenge.

                                    I'm not doing great on this challenge but i don't know why? It's the same instruction every day about monitoring your bruxism. I got a drugstore mouth guard for sleeping. Beyond that- I'm not quite sure what to do on this daily challenge? Instructions could be clearer.
